DeadBrain in Spain
August 2001
Part Four: Interesting Places to Visit
- There aren't any, and even if there were you wouldn't be able to get to them.
Part Five: The Beaches
- Menorca is full of beaches, which in turn are full of people. Even on the most remote of beaches - accessible only by pothole-ridden dirt tracks - certain stereotypes can still be easily picked out: the wrinkled nudist, the hyperactive ice cream seller and the misplaced businessman (with mobile phone, lap top, blotter, mobile stationery cupboard and water cooler) being just three of them.
- Never make the mistake of placing your belongings anywhere near a parasol or deckchair. DeadBrain made this mistake once but never again, as it resulted in it being chased around the beach by a hawk-eyed Spaniard wearing shorts designed for a woman half his age, a pink cap designed for Keith Chegwin and a bum bag designed for an unfashionable female Keith Chegwin clone of at least half of his age and a quarter of his weight.
