March 2002 War to be extended 3 Mar 2002 Drunken journalists in America have reported that President Bush is to again extend his war on terror. According to Douglas Ramsbottom Jnr, Dubya is keen to combat terror in general, with proposals including a ban on horror films and the outlawing of ghost trains. Widdecombe Mother in TV Fame 8 Mar 2002 Support is growing for Rita Widdecombe, the mother of the Conservative MP Ann Widdecombe, who was made famous earlier this week in a BBC documentary. Supporters of the Bring Back Ann Widdecombe Campaign have thrown their almost entirely inconsiderable weight behind Ms Widdecombe's mother and a green wheelie bin, as at least two of them marched on Downing Street holding placards and banners. Rita Widdecombe was said to be "not especially bothered" at the news, although her daughter did ban camera crews, journalists and Robin Cook from some rooms of her house. New Stupid Legislation 26 Mar 2002 The government today announced new legislation to prevent discrimination against stupid people. According to former Dome Minister Lord Faulkner, who is now Minister for the Stupid, discrimination against stupid people in the workplace has gone on for too long. "It's just not fair that stupid people should lose out because of their condition," he said. "The government is leading the way in employing stupid people and we expect everyone else to follow."
