Saddam admits micro-weapons tech failures

Saddam Hussein has admitted to failures in his programme for developing microscopic weapons of mass destruction. Speaking in an interview with former British MP Tony Benn, the Iraqi dictator said that the weapons "do not come in small pills that you can hide in your pocket, which is unfortunate, because then they'd be easier to hide."
Tories press for minister for scare-mongering

The Conservative Party urged the government to appoint a Chief of Homeland Scare-mongering today in the face of more terror alerts. "We are sick to death of the government's disunited approach to scaring the British public witless," protested the Shadow Home Secretary, Oliver Letwin. "We have one member of the cabinet saying one thing, another saying something completely different. How can they expect to scare people properly when they send out such different messages? It's time the government took scare-mongering seriously like we do and appointed someone to head a united government strategy for creating panic."
