"Sick" animal stunt causes protests
8 Sep 2001
"Truly amazing" news satire website DeadBrain followed in the footsteps of singer Britney Spears last night by writing an article over a live video stream with a snake draped around its neck and a tiger performing tricks. Shocked viewers watched in amazement as the snake crawled over the keyboard and jumped over a large paper shredder in a death-defying stunt.
Animal rights protesters condemned the act, eagerly telling anyone who would listen that the tiger had probably been shocked repeatedly during its training in order to make it do tricks which they claimed were "pointless and sick". DeadBrain responded by denying that it had given the animal in question any electrical shocks, but said that it did use a life-size replica of Iain Duncan Smith during its training, which could have shocked the animal.
Both the snake and the tiger, believed to have been borrowed from a rich Indian businessman rumoured to be good friends with Keith Vaz, declined to comment on the performance.
Look at this, moron.
