  Widdecombe Demonstrations
Hoards of enraged demonstrators last night crowded onto the streets of Wetwang, a small irrelevant village in East Yorkshire, in support of the Bring Back Ann Widdecombe Campaign (BBAWC). According to Gregory T Mullet OBE, the man who started off the demonstrations and led several solo Mexican waves, it is vital that Ms Widdecombe is brought back into front-line politics. Speaking from the back of a milk float, Mr Mullet said, "It has now been several months since Letwin, that thing, that...that monstrosity replaced Ann. We demand that Ann is reinstated immediately!"

The campaign, which was launched yesterday by acclaimed news satire website "DeadBrain", has already achieved international recognition. Supporters in Perth, Australia, have covered their houses with pictures of Ms Widdecombe, flags bearing her name are being flown as far away as Peru, while in Washington protestors burned an effigy of Oliver Letwin on Capitol Hill. DeadBrain has once again pleaded with the Conservative Party to reinstate Ms Widdecombe before things spiral out of control.
