Mullet Shot Dead

Gregory T Mullet OBE has been shot dead outside his home in Wetwang, East Yorkshire. The circumstances of the attack on Mr Mullet are still emerging, but Humberside Police believe it may be in connection with the Bring Back Ann Widdecombe Campaign, which he headed.
This presents a chilling new twist to the campaign, which had only been in operation for one week. The village of Wetwang is in shock, and the campaign headquarters have been plunged into chaos. Within minutes of Mr Mullet's death being announced, three people had caught their ties in the shredder and one woman placed an order for 452 flowerpots by mistake.
Mr Mullet's widow, Mrs Mullet, has paid tribute to her husband, calling him a "great and passionate man". She also expressed his desire to have a "lasting legacy" by donating both of his little toes to medical science in the hope that they may result in a cure for a serious illness. The future of Mr Mullet's campaign is so far unclear.
