  Palace in arson attack
The Queen's Golden Jubilee celebrations lie in disarray tonight after a drunken Duke of Edinburgh accidentally set off the first in a chain of beacons. The Buckingham Palace Beacon, which was due to have been lit tomorrow evening, is believed to have been started by mistake when Prince Phillip was looking for a bottle opener.

Palace officials are insisting that tomorrow's planned concert will go ahead as planned. Despite this, though, royal observer Gregory T Mullet is certain that the fire was no accident. "I am sure there was a sinister plot behind tonight's fire. Put yourself in the Duke's shoes – would you want Emma Bunton and Ricky Martin in your back garden? I don't think so! It's got to be arson."

Hey, look at this!
