International news satire website of mystery "DeadBrain" was in trouble again today following the accidental publication of an article about the Cult of Robin Hood. The article was quickly removed and a ceramic pot maker fired following numerous complaints.
Douglas Ramsbottom, a newly unemployed ceramic pot maker, last made the news in May when he was caught up in attack on the website's headquarters by outraged forum members. Gregory T Mullet, the website's Editor-in-Chief, quickly learned of Mr Ramsbottom's pointless employment and fired him immediately. It is believed that Mr Ramsbottom only managed to regain his job by a long, drawn-out process of blackmail involving a garden hose and his pottery shed.
Mr Ramsbottom, who until today also held the position of official company scapegoat, told DeadBrain he was "naturally upset" about losing his job, but that he "will be back" in as menacing a voice as possible.
Meanwhile, DeadBrain's website has been banned in some areas of Nottingham as a consequence of the article's publication. The Sheriff of Nottingham was "far too evil" to speak to us, but one of his underlings had a few words in our man's ear while clutching a chicken.
"[The action] was taken because the Cult of Robin Hood is a bad influence on the people of Nottingham," he said with a pretty pathetic cackle. "It is not the job of Mr Hood to rob the rich and give to the poor – that's what we have a Labour Government for."
Simon says look at this...
