 Foxhunters rampage through London
Thousands of foxhunters converged on London yesterday after a fox they were chasing escaped. "I last spotted it in Watford," said the master of one of the hunts taking part. "But the little bugger escaped me again. I'm sure it went this way."

Hunts from across England and Wales took part in the first ever "MegaHunt", which involved chasing a specially trained "GM fox" from a secret location in Lincolnshire to the outskirts of Leicester where it was to be killed. Despite the hunters' best efforts, though, the fox began behaving "erratically" and managed to evade the hounds for several hours, dragging the entire procession hundreds of miles off course.

Late last night the rogue fox was spotted in London, resulting in a Benny Hill-style chase across Hyde Park. Amazingly, though, it has still yet to be caught and is tonight causing traffic chaos in and around the capital.

Government officials from the shadowy DEFRA agency are now considering calling in the army to deal with the fox, which it has called "a threat to national security". According to senior fox inspectors, who have already been sent in to study the fox's capabilities, it could have weapons of mass destruction "within weeks, months or possibly even years".

The cabinet is meeting tonight to discuss a quickly fabricated "dossier of evidence" that proves that the fox actually exists, ahead of any possible action against it. Reports that the fox has grown a "big black bushy moustache" have, however, been denied.

Wow, look at this!
