| | Sniper police seek suspect truck
13 Oct 2002
Police hunting the perpetrator of the recent sniper shootings in Washington DC have turned their attentions to a white truck spotted at the scenes of several of the attacks. So far eight people have been killed by the sniper and police are no closer to finding the culprit.
"Our best lead at the moment is the white truck," said Montgomery County police Chief, Charles Moose. "Several witnesses have noticed it near the shootings, so I think we need to find it as soon as possible. If you've ever seen Knight Rider, you'll know how dangerous innocent-looking vehicles can be."
Clarifying the matter later this morning, a spokesman said that the police "could not rule the truck out" as a suspect. Further witnesses have since come forward to say that they have seen the truck wearing a false beard and dark glasses while lurking in woodland. A legal representative for David Hasselhoff has meanwhile stated that he has a full alibi for each of the shootings.
Wow, look at this!
