 U.S. bombs "strategically-important" market 26 Mar 2003 The United States carried out further bombing raids on Baghdad last night in a continuation of the war in Iraq. Speaking to troops in Florida this morning, President Bush described the target, a small market and shopping district, as "strategically vital" to the war effort.
