Bush cabinet to produce charity CD, music video
Seeking to improve diplomatic ties and public relations in light of the controversial pre-emptive war on Iraq, members of the Bush Administration's cabinet have joined with the music industry to produce a CD, the proceeds from which will be donated to Iraqi infrastructure rebuilding.

The title track, "Get with the F*cking Program or You're Next," will be released for radio airplay on 27 May. The accompanying video will premiere on MTV worldwide the same day. In addition to the title track, the CD will include a speech by President George W. Bush recorded at the United Nations (an excerpt of which appears here) and nineteen covers and remixes of Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the U.S.A."

The recording has received the blessing of the exceptionally well-adjusted pop star Michael Jackson, who co-wrote the 1985 smash hit African famine relief song "We Are the World." DeadBrain's sources reveal that Jackson has agreed to a 12-round slap-fight with journalist Martin Bashir in order to promote the CD.

Paula Abdul, the dancer/recording artist now serving as a judge for the American version of ITV's Pop Idol, choreographed the music video for "Program." She reported that the biggest surprise of the video shoot was Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld. "Donny actually studied interpretive dance for four semesters in college," she said in a recent interview. "He's very aware of the fluidity of his body and knows what he can do with it. He even taught basic ballet positions to the rest of the cabinet members during the shoot." Abdul hinted that footage of the ballet training might be included as an "Easter egg" on the eventual DVD release of the video.

A nationwide tour in support of the CD is being planned for the fall of 2003. Attendance will be mandatory for all American citizens and any foreign nationals within 100 miles (161 kilometres) of a concert site, according to Section 433(a)(12) of the USA PATRIOT Act.
