  Bush UK Visit
Threat of Bush visit increased, says MI5
The threat level of a visit from the US President was today dramatically raised ahead of President Bush's visit next week. DeadBrain has learned from the BBC web site that security services have received intelligence that President Bush may be planning an imminent visit to the UK, but deny that there is any specific threat, "especially not to Buckingham Palace, where Bush will probably want to stay".

Security expert Douglas Ramsbottom told us that any such visit could be extremely dangerous. "There's a real danger that we could see violence and maybe even deaths if Bush visits," he said. "The people with him will be armed and we won't be able to do anything to stop them entering the country. Given that most of the population hates his guts it's quite likely that some of them will get shot."

The police are reportedly considering closing London in the event of a Bush visit. "This would greatly improve public safety, although it would piss off a lot of people," said a senior Metropolitan Police source. "But pissed off people are better than dead people. You saw what Bush's lot did to Baghdad, they're dangerous."

A White House spokesman denied that President Bush's visit was a hostile one. "The President's visit is for the benefit of the people of Britain," he said. "We will be handing back power to an interim British government at the end of 2008."
